Are you struggling with anxiety? Have you been experiencing obsessive thoughts or having frequent panic attacks? Is depression stopping you from living your life fully?

I may be able to help. My name is Michelle Malloy and I am a licensed psychotherapist in Orange County. I have more than fifteen years of experience working with individuals, children, adolescents, and families.

I work actively with clients to help them create change. I seek to provide an environment which enhances your understanding of yourself, as I believe that people can and do make important and positive changes based on this insight and by the process of seeking to acquire it.

Therapy is a special opportunity to be understood by another person. When we feel understood by another, we are more able to untangle the issues that lead us into treatment in the first place. This can help us to develop ourselves and our lives more fully.

I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic Therapy with a  warm, genuine and collaborative style to help people work towards change. I have specialized training in managing anxiety disorders and have graduated from both the general and child BTTI program from the OCD Foundation, allowing me to offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure Response Prevention for OCD and related anxiety disorders.  I have also received specialized training from Postpartum Support International in managing Perinatal Mood Disorders making me especially qualified in treating Maternal Mental Health and Postpartum OCD, Anxiety, and Depression.

My office is conveniently located in Orange, CA. It is easily accessible from many areas of Orange County. Some of my specialities include Anxiety, OCD, Panic Disorder, Depression, and Eating Disorders. Please explore the rest of my website to learn more about myself and my practice.

Welcome. This website is designed to tell you about my practice and give you helpful information prior to your first visit. Most questions can be answered from the information found here, but feel free to call me if you have additional questions.
